GIU Day 5 - Friday, and a Final Kit

It's Day 5 of my week as a featured {Growing in Unity} Girl. It went by so fast! Today I'm sharing one more card kit has been upgraded using Unity Stamp Company stamps!

This card uses one of my favorite butterflies of all time. What a great design! The name of the set is Perfect the Way You Are, and it's one of only two stamps that I've purchased multiples of on purpose.  I'm still in love with this bird, too.

The piece of cardstock I used for the sentiment was turquoise and had the word "HOPE" pre-printed on it. I turned it over to stamp the sentiment and, since it was going on white paper, I decided to sponge the dark purple ink on the edges so it would stand out.

It's been terrific to share my cards with you this week!  Thank you for joining me.

GIU Day 4 - Are You Kit-ing Me?

It's Day 4 of my week as a featured {Growing in Unity} Girl -- and another card kit has been upgraded using a Unity Stamp Company stamp!

This particular kit came with the flag pre-cut, and so were the leaves and the pots. I found a stamp in the Donna Downey Art & Possibility stamp set that worked well and fit the prescribed size nicely.

Have you been inspired to use Unity stamps with a pre-cut card kit?

GIU Day 3 - Another Improved Kit

Is it Wednesday already? Sure is! It's the third day of my week as a featured {Growing in Unity} Girl. I've decided to stick with my theme of improving Cardmaking Kits using Unity Stamps. Today's project was a simple one. It came from a baseball-themed kit.

The airplane stamp and "you're just plane awesome" are from the For the Guys stamp set. It has this airplane, a bicycle, and a classic car along with a generous group of sentiments. Highly recommended if you have guys to make cards for.

GIU Day 2 - A Kit, Only Better

It's Tuesday and the second day of my week as a featured {Growing in Unity} Girl.  I have a colorful, enhanced kit card to share with you. The stamp is from the August 2016 Kit of the Month called Open Your Soul.

I added some bling to the card in the form of sequins, and switched out the sentiment to the Unity stamp. The size, font, and saying are all perfect for this card!

The stamps from Unity Stamp Company are high-quality and perform for years and years. This stamp set is 8 years old. I live in a very dry environment, and I've had stamps from other companies where the rubber itself cracked and crumbled. I have several dozen Unity stamp sets, and not a single stamp has ever had an issue.

GIU Day 1 - A Kit, Only Better

Welcome, stampers! This is the first day of my week as a featured {Growing in Unity} Girl. I love Unity stamps and can't wait to share some creations with you!

Lately, I've taken to purchasing card making kits. It makes everything so much easier -- especially when creating in quantities. As my local stamping buddies will tell you, though, I almost never create the kit as-is. I regularly change things up, and that's what I wanted to share with you here.

This is a new kit for Spring 2024. It included some cute cards and cut-outs, and I wanted to enhance it with Unity stamps. The bird and sentiment stamp are both from the Sometimes I Wonder stamp set.

This card is out of my comfort zone. I can't remember the last time I made a card in any size other than A2. What's your favorite card size/shape?
