GIU - Growing In Unity Gal Thursday

I am featuring stamps from Unity Stamp Company on this blog each day this week.

Today's project features stamps from the Lilacs & Birthdays {Floral Collage} stamp set. The lilacs in this set are so delicate and lovely, aren't they?

Today's card is so CAS, it's free of embellishments and patterned papers! There's just a cardstock flag (thanks to a My Favorite Things pierced flag STAX die) and some inking around the edges. I considered adding at least a dozen different things, but decided in the end to let the image speak for itself.

I love lilacs, but I don't remember seeing them in South Florida when I was growing up. We have a beautiful lilac bush in our yard now, and I love when it blooms. They look great and smell even better!

Thanks so much for visiting today. See you tomorrow. Happy Stamping!

You did it again with the color! Nice shading and the perfect design for a springtime (or anytime, really) birthday. That stamp is terrific.

I love lilacs, too....and they seem to grow so well here in Idaho, don't they? I am in the North Central part at 3000' elevation. They really thrive here, even with cold icy winters and hot dry summers. I love going out in the late winter and seeing that the lilac branches already have leaf buds beginning to swell. Spring IS on the way! What a welcome thing....esp during this snowy winter, right?

I love your beautiful card. The delicate colors and unadorned style are perfect for this gorgeous image. The simple sentiment flag is just the embellishment needed. Lovely work.

I can't wait for my lilac bushes to bloom this spring! Isn't their fragrance so divine? Your card is soft and brings to mind the sweet joy of their scent on the air. :)
